Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

1 day.  Friday 23rd February, 2024

           Srinagar - Arrival and Sightseeing

On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken for a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah bridge which connectsthe banks of the Jehlum river, local sightseeing that includes a visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat garden, Shalimar garden, Chashmashahi, Parimahal, als visit IndiraGandhi Tulip Garden Asia’s largest tulip garden hat will remain open for 01 month only.We will explore the gardens and later drive to the Hotel/HouseBoat. Dinner and Overnight stay at Srinagar Hotel / HouseBoat.

2nd days .  Saturday 24th February, 2024

                   Srinagar to Sonamarg - Day Trip 

After breakfast full day excursion of Sonmarg which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonmarg is at 98 kms from Srinagar. We will take about 3 hours toreachSonmarg.Sonmarg is the last stop of Kashmir. From here starts the territory of Ladakh.

Situated at an altitude of 2743 m above sea level, Sonmarg is absolutely truetoitsname,which means 'Meadow of Gold'. The moment you enter Sonmarg, the first thingthatyouwill notice will be the snow-covered mountain that forms the backdrop of the town.

Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonmarg has few of the loveliest flower collectionin Jammu and Kashmir. You may take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier wheresnowremainsround the year. Return to Srinagar by the evening for overnight stay.

3rd day .  Sunday 25th February, 2024

                Srinagar to Gulmarg - Day Trip

After breakfast checkout from hotel proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is one of themostbeautiful resorts in the valley. It is at 52kms from Srinagar. Gulmarg has beenaresortforthe kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently. GulmargboastsAsia's highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. The two-stageropewayferries about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearbyAfarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft). You can also try skiing on your own. Gulmarghasoneofthe best ski slopes in the world and also has highest golf course in the worldwith18holes.Later in the evening return back to Hotel dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar hotel.

4th days .  Monday 26th February, 2024

                  Srinagar to Pahalgam - Transfer and Sightseeing

After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the villageof Bijbeharawhich remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch fromthenationalhighway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. Fromherethe road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing fromtheoppositedirection. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and Visit to Chandanwadi (at your owncost),The snow Point (14 Km) at your own cost or enjoy pony ride at your own cost. Overnightstay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

5th day .   Tuesday 27th February, 2024

                 Pahalgam to Srinagar - Sightseeing and Transfer

Morning After breakfast the day is free to explore Lidder valley at your own or you can pickone of the below given options by taking a local cab at your own cost. Option 1. Visit to Aru  which is a small village, 15 km upstream the Lidder River. The route is picturesquewith ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier. Option 2. Visit to Chandanwari, 16 Km which is the starting point of sacred Amarnath Yatra.Chandanwari is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge. En-route you can visit Hajan,an idyllic picnic spot and Betaab valley. Option 3. You can enjoy leisurely walks inpineforest along River Lidder and enjoy picnic on riverside. Option 4. You can enjoy pony ride to Baisaran meadow, surrounded by thickly wooded pine forest and snow-capped mountains.This grassy glen offers a panoramic view of Pahalgam town and Lidder Valley. Later in the evening you will come to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight in Hotel/Houseboat at Srinagar.
